Climate change has been in news and steps to be taken for short and long term reversals are under debate-especially if you follow the debates amongst presidential candidates and the NYC’s Mayor’s speech after hurricane Sandy. The climate change debate somehow always takes a political turn but for this class we will adhere to the science part.
I missed the recent lecture (Apr 6) by Christiana Figueres (executive secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change) who was at UMB discussing the Paris Agreement of December 2015. I am trying to find out if there is a video somewhere you may get access to. You can read some recent news here:
